I'm studying Politics/Sociology at York (live in Cheltenham), entering my second year in a few months, and intend to do a Master's (at least) afterwards. I try not to take anything seriously and I'm pretty relaxed about most things. I don't really drink/club, but I am an avid cinema-goer (though I probably watch more films on DVD) and live comedy attendee. Generally up for trying new things.
Since this my atheist profile:
I'm probably more of an anti-theist, actually. I view religions, religious belief and the power structures built around them as something broadly akin to a disease. If I thought it would get anywhere I'd lobby for religion to be recognised as a mental illness. I try not to spend TOO much time thinking about massive numbers of imbeciles who believe this garbage - and the immense amount of suffering, bigotry and death religion causes - but it makes me despair for the future of the human race

Anyhoo, on a slightly more uplifting note, looking for someone very, very bright, quirky, atheist, ethical, and unusual
