The cost for coffins and blocking off land to never be used for anything productive, just to place the empty husk of what was once a living being makes zero sense. It makes more sense to have a cardboard box or a wooden coffin that easily degrades.

When people are sold fancy coffins with special linings that take longer to degrade, it is all just a farce and an expensive one. In a generation, after the existing family has died, the burial will have ended up just being wasted money and space. When will people realize the death industry is just a way for people to milked out of money during their grief?!
