Science+Art+Music=me Describe myself? Ok... So I'm essentially an artist, geek, musician,science fanatic skeptic, jeans 'n t-shirt kinda guy, movie/music snob, non-conformist, weirdo in a very limiting nutshell.

I can't stand pop music or pop culture. Dance clubs make me want to force a roll of quarters into my eye sockets. I couldn't possibly be labeled as "metal", "goth", "hipster" but don't mind folks who do so.

I'm the shy at first until I get used to you kind of a person. I try to be polite and nice but prefer to be around people who are more laid back when it comes to profanity/dirty jokes/offensive humor. When I find myself in horribly uncomfortable or s---ty situations, I tend to try to laugh them away, and look at myself from the outside as if I weren't actually in such a hellish situation. I like having a small group of close friends rather than a multitude of acquaintances.

I really like sculpting creatures/monsters on the computer and learning artistic anatomy. I used to play video games, but work has pretty much limited that sort of thing.

I'm a huge fan of Jazz, Progressive Rock, and Metal music, but I was raised on a healthy dose of 80's shoegaze/new wave, grunge and classic rock.

I love movies, I mean...hell, I work in the industry! I was born and raised in Texas where I grew up having a love for music, art, and science predominantly.

I was raised Christian, but gradually became more agnostic/atheist and skeptical throughout highschool. In college I changed majors from Chem to Bio to Bio-Chem to Drawing and finally to 3D animation!

I'm looking to meet new people since I'm a recent transplant in the area. I'd like to meet a gal who has just read the above statements and has at least smiled once, saw a couple words that raised an eyebrow...oh and not finding me repulsive could be a start!
