I was a fundy-pentecostal for 9/10s of my life (i.e. grew up being forced to watch Pat Robertson, James Dobson, etc.). I recently turned Atheist (Summer 2010)....
I've always loved science, technology, etc. but only recently have I been able to fully appreciate it (you know, fundies are against evolution).
Of course, I tried the whole 'god of the gaps' and 'old earth creationism' thing...but in the end, the arguments of Lee Strobel, Josh McDowell, William Laine Craig, etc. just didn't sit right with me....and thus began my journey into Atheism.
When I was a fundy, I vowed Abstinence until marriage. Now that I'm an Atheist, I don't wanna die a virgin!
Also, I don't want to be dominated, or dominate. I think men and women can be co-equals in a relationship.
As for s--...well, that's classified...until we open a dialog anyway...
