Pascal's Wager is a crapshoot
Pascal's Wager is a crapshoot I'm a 23 year old combat medic who is looking to leave the military around christmas, much to my delight. I'm also a secular humanist, and look forward to returning to college so I can finish my bachelor's in BioChem and Molecular Biology. Primarily what I'm looking for a friend or a person with whom I can relate, though I would not say no were an actual relationship to follow.
I am not what I would consider a member of the New Atheists, and in truth I'm more of an agnostic who rounds up to the nearest appropriate label. It's not that I think there's a god, it's that I think that I can't disprove its existence anymore than russel's teapot, though I find the notion of a personal god frankly ridiculous. More to follow when I get the feel of this community. I'm a libertarian to the extent that I feel that I think that less government is probably a good thing, but I don't believe in the altruism of any large organization farther than I can throw any other intangible vaguely anthropomorphized entity.
