My religious or spiritual view of the world?
My religious or spiritual view of the world? I am non-believer; I do not believe in gods, goddesses, ghosts, goblins, or goons.
To me, the quest for the supernatural cheapens the wonderful one that we already embark upon. As such, I prefer to see life as it is and not how I want to it be; the way I see things, to be pessimistic is to be satisfied with any and all improvements in life.
But as much as I love being secular, I have to admit that this wasn't always the case.
To make things short, I've been living in a Catholic family for the entirety of my life and though my experiences were always very good, I no longer find compelling reasons to exclusively follow the catholic lifestyle or religion in general.
Accordingly, though I am indeed a non-believer, I am by no means an anti-theist, at least not a militant one. If believing in a super-natural deity helps you get out of bed in the morning and do the right thing, I don't feel like I have the right to criticize you for it, until of course it interferes with my rights to the same things.
