You don't need a god to tell you the golden rule When I was 17, I went on a religious retreat through the catholic Jesuit school I was attending: during those 4 days, instead of growing closer to god, I grew closer to 39 other guys I'd never been completely honest with, and the power of feeling comfortable in your own skin, and encouraging others to do the same is darn near unstoppable. I worship intelligence, ingenuity, and the infinite potential of human communion. I think religion does more harm then good and hope that one day, it will go away. I want to meet other atheists passionate about human experience and self awareness.
