Free kitten...maybe I just got my BA in History, but I'm a little burned out on it now. I was training to become and archaeologist, but changed my plans in my senior year. My big hobby growing up was medieval living history. (Not LARP, but I've got nothing against those people) I built my first trebuchet at age 12, then it fell over on my mom's car....explaining that to the insurance company was....interesting. I also started building my own suit of armor at the same time. (Real stuff out of steel, not some bad cardboard cosplay outfit. It took 3 years.) I'm taking a break from that for now, but I still love all things medieval. I also ran a small film production company in highschool. We built camera cranes, had a studio, and even did stuff with greenscreens. (Which doesn't sound like much now, but we were 15years old at the time and all the other kids hated having to do video projects against us ^_^)

I'm fairly artsy. I love to look at common items and imagine how they could be modified into a sculpture of some type. I've never had any formal training beyond youtube "how to" videos, but check out the cool stuff I make on my craft blog:

What I'm looking for: someone who's intelligent, has a nerdy/geeky streak,who is interested in the world around them and engages it, has an intellectual curiosity, and someone who likes to try new things.

About my personality, I'm an INFJ, a little quiet, but can be talkative, and my friends would describe me as kind and dependable. I'm also one of those weird people that actually reads for fun, goes to lectures of their own volition, and watches TED lectures.
