Hi i'm a central Texas atheist.
Hi i'm a central Texas atheist. I joined this site because, in Texas were I live, the vast majority of people that i have tried to date believe that the earth is only a few thousand years old. Enough said about that I think. I became atheist when sitting in church one day when i realized that all the people around me were simply there to be seen there. As well as coming from a small town. I knew that then did not live by the "same rules" and i was told to live by. That many were racist bigots that would rather feel good about themselves rather than do good.
