Secular Humanist I guess...Science and Reason I'm a masters student in conservation genetics and don't enjoy bar or club environments which makes it a bit more challenging to meet new people. I was raised in a very liberal Christian family and with the help of my education and common sense slowly moved away from the church and am now happily atheist along with my siblings and parents, for the most part.

In any case, my favorite pastimes include ultimate frisbee (look it up if you aren't familiar with it), any sort of camping or hiking, science of any kind, and quality conversation about the things I find important. I also really enjoy watching most sports along with cooking and board games, or most any game for that matter.

I don't really drink alcohol at all (wouldn't be apposed to it completely) which makes bars and other such social gatherings uneventful for me. All in all this makes it a bit tricky to meet people, let alone to know if they are non-believers or looking to date. Sites like this take care of both of those things.

To sum up my personality, I'm completely optimistic and like to give people the benefit of the doubt in most situations. I guess I'm technically an introvert but not around smaller groups of people that I know well. I think compassion for others is the most important thing I would look for in a partner because so many other things that are important to me usually come along with it. A good sense of humor would be a close second.

An enjoyable evening for me would be to cook something fun with my date followed by a movie, games, or any other number of fun things. Not apposed to going out to eat either although it tends to feel like a waste of money on my own...
