Just looking for someone likeminded
I am a college student at University of Alabama- Huntsville. I'm majoring in Sociology and am also going into the Global Studies Cognate; concentration in Global Sustainability. I appreciate anyone's right to believe what they, choose about whatever they want to, but I personally think religion developed by humankind as a way to satisfy it's own need for answers, and desperate search for immortality. I believe it became a way to manipulate and subjugate it's own kind according to the whims of those in positions of power. I firmly believe there is no higher power, and that has been the source of a number of heated debates amongst the people I know. I honestly can't see myself in a relationship with someone who believes in a higher power, I don't think I could ever feel truly connected to someone with such a different view of the world.
