Keeping It "On Topic" I guess we are here for the same reason, so I'll answer the suggested optional question instead of telling you all about what I am looking for: How would you describe your religious or spiritual view of the world?

I stopped believing in a deity many years ago. I couldn't accept a vengeful god, or a god that appeared to be more or less bi-polar. My opinion is that man created god as an explanation for things he didn't understand, but he didn't really think it through.

I consider myself a Buddhist but I am definitely an atheist first. I don't follow Buddhism as an organized religion, but as an attitude gained through my own interpretation of Buddhism. I am opposed to organized religion and any other institution that controls people through fear or intimidation. I have a low tolerance for hypocrisy, and the "big 3" are perfect examples of hypocrisy gone wild!
