I'm an atheist who believes in the natural world around me and I find that satisfying.. As a hobby I like to compose music on the piano by ear. I also do some digital photography mainly of nature and architecture. I mostly read popularized books in science, ethics, philosophy, and religion. I mostly socialize with this secular community in Portland, which consist of "meetups" which I attend here and there. As for mid-term goals I am going back to school at the PCC Sylvania campus to pursue degrees in sociology, psychology, and something in the area of the popularization of science. My long-term goal is to use this academic experience to get a position at the Center For Inquiry CFI national branch working towards the development of secular societies throughout the U.S.
Aside from that I'm a good listener and express myself well in conversation. I've been told I have good emotional intelligence, besides being sharp and very funny and goofy in the moment.
I'm very positive and tend to see the best in people and am pretty accepting..
I hope to find someone who knows themself and is understanding, knowledgeable, and honest. Someone with realistic expectations of people.
