Staunch atheist, but respectful to others
Staunch atheist, but respectful to others I became an atheist at age 34 after a year-long struggle with religion. No one talked me into it. I simply started asking questions to myself that religion could not truly answer, as well as looking at things from different points of view outside of the box I was living in. I don't believe in pushing my view (at least I try not to), though I do love to discuss it with those who ask.
