Like most people our age, I've wasted time on the wrong things and with the wrong people. But I'm solid silver, and my few dents don't make me less valuable than all the silverplated characters you're likely to find.
I hardly know how to talk about myself! I don't have much patience with the almost inevitable fakeness of dating profiles. I have a good job working with computers, mostly for engineers. (I really like engineers!) I am a great cook, even if I usually cook with a book in one hand. I have hundreds of books. I play classical piano, I knit and sew, all the ladylike things, but there's more to me than that. I want to design and build my home. I want to study engineering and art. I want to make a peaceful, pleasant home and to have a family who loves me and knows I love them.
I don't have kids, though I like them just fine. I don't mind if you have kids, so long as you are a good father to them and you have honorably dealt with their mother.
What else? I don't know what people want to know... I'm a white woman of European descent, in case that matters to you. Since I'm a bit of a computer nerd, I'm not really the outdoorsy type. I've been losing weight steadily since I identified the blood sugar issues that were keeping me from being at a healthy weight. I'm still pretty though. I love going to the opera and the symphony and the theater. I love to travel; I feel at home everywhere I've been. I do like the occasional glass of wine, but I'm not an expert. I have cats, and they are good cats because I care about their training and their well-being. (No scratches on my furniture!) My politics are compassion and independence, and my policy the law of common humanity.
Let's talk.
