A future, modern day Knight You can typically find me in a couple of places. I take the occasional trip to the local Half Price Books when I'm in need of a few good science fiction or fantasy books. Well, I say a few, but I usually end up making a stack of books almost as tall as myself; a little over five feet. I like to go for the thicker books, but it generally takes between twenty and thirty novels before I'm satisfied with that trip to the book store. When I check out with this enormous pile of luterature, I take some joy in seeing the surprised look on people's faces. I've even been given a box to carry the books out instead of wasting multiple bags to hold them all.
The other place I'm frequenting quite often these days is the dog park. I have a beautiful Border Collie named Rayne that loves to play fetch until she can't run anymore. It's nice getting outside for an hour or so, and I enjoy watching her try to keep her ball away from all of the other dogs. I've found that it gets pretty busy around noon, so that is when I try to go most days. I wish I could take my other two dogs as well, but one is a Pomeranian that tries to escape and annoys people with constant barking. The other is a very old, grouchy Bernese. Unfortunately he was attacked by three different dogs when he was young, so his disposition towards any dog his size or larger has been negative to say the least.
Aside from those two activities, I kill time on some PC and Play Station 3 games. I really like to play board games as well, and I'm hoping to one day find someone that will play table top role playing games with me. I'm also looking forward to a time when I'm able to attend my first Comic Con! Currently I'm thinking of cosplaying as a character from the anime Fairy Tail. I'm putting some serious thought in to getting the Fairy Tail guild emblem as a tattoo as well.
