Free thinking adventuresome spirit wanted. Freethinking atheist tired of so many other dating sites full of the very religious. I'm quite capable of living a fulfilling and moral life without the need for god and I'm hoping to find someone like minded.


Some years ago I had a realization of what I wanted in my life I decided that at the age of 70 I wanted to be able to look back on my life and be proud of the things I have done. I want to be able to tell people about the things I've done and have them go "Wow, I wish I'd done that." Rock climbing, sky diving, scuba diving, playing the guitar, learning a language, anything that most would find to be interesting or that enriches ones life. I also love to travel, we don't have much time on this little blue and green rock, and since there is no afterlife, I want to see as much of it as I can. However all these things would mean more if you have someone in your life to share them with. That is what I want, someone to share all of life's adventures with.


Now please don't think I'm constantly the adventure seeking, adrenaline rush craving type. I do enjoy spending time at the movies or at home reading a good book, or just spending time with someone special. I'm the type of person who refuses to accept that anyone is "too old" "too tall" "too short" "too young" "too whatever" to do something. I have friends who tell me "Oh I'm too old to..." "Or oh I could never do..." There is absolutely nothing in the world we cannot do if we decide we want to, and I refuse to accept the idea that I cannot do something because someone or something says I can't.


But at the end of the day when one has done all manner of cool, exciting, fun things they are made so much better by having someone to share those experiences with. I want a partner who will go on these adventures with me and to share all these great experiences with. A best friend who will be there for the journey and with whom I can share these fond memories.
