I read "What God Wants" a few years ago and I was really attracted to this idea/ principle/ belief system termed "New Spirituality." This was comforting to me and still is.
I considered myself a Christian until I was about 15, and I felt a bit lost without my religion. It was my moral compass and because I saw so many things that were wrong with it, I had to turn away. And I'm glad I have. I think I'm actually a better person because of it. I'm more tolerant and I feel like the disorder in the world makes more sense. Most of my family is still Christian and I've come to accept this. I'd like to meet and chat with people who share my views.
