Godfrey's Own Atheism led me to scientific naturalism, which has a lot of hidden advantages. For instance, now I can sleep outdoors -even in a graveyard- and never have to worry about anything but humans and other wild animals ... no more worries about goblins, demons, ghosts, fairies, Jesus-the-Undead or other terrors of the craven, enslaved human imagination.


I love dogs, horses and wild mountain country.


I love reading: science, literary biog. french poetry and science fiction.


I hate: macdonaldization of modern cultural and social life.... rising tidal sludge of occultism (new-age-ism) and commercial radio/TV

I have no hang-ups about sex: since
we are most closely related to chimps: genetically, socially and psycho-se---lly.... let's "get it on" (as a couple, of course: my one concession to conventional ethics) ...

Let's ditch all that crap about humans as benighted "spiritual beings" trudging through some kind of trial run for eternity;

Let's joyously chuck the humanistic claptrap about us being the apex of evolution or, laughably but still believed by far too many hairless apes: that we are princes and princesses awaiting our fated charmed romantic meeting...

Let's just accept that we are members of a violent, clever-though-rarely-wise, highly destructive species, whose only chance is to outgrow the fantasies and terrors of our long infancy and adopt reason in all things...

in all things except when we participate in mutually agreed fun, which should be a lot more often....
