I took a comparative religion course in HS And knew from then on that they were all just collections of myths, presented to control the populace in whichever region. The exception was buddhism/taoism, which was more a collection of philosophies for being a better person in general. I followed taoism fro quite a while, and still hold it's philosophies dear.
