Thank god, I'm an atheist! Congruent religious (or anti-religious) beliefs don't guarantee a good relationship but it sure can't hurt! It's been a source of conflict in the past and I'd like to try, even for friendship, not having that obstacle to overcome. Plus everybody knows atheists are sexy.

Even though actively denying the existence of an imaginary, loving but vengeful creator of the universe could easily be a full-time job, I'm more interested in pursuing outdoor activities like hiking, biking, canoeing and kayaking in a low-impact manner. I'm also trying to develop my creative side - with or without evident talent - in video, music, photography, writing and other forms that strike my fancy. I'm passionate about the environment and I love just about any animal that doesnt attack me. And even those, I'm still somewhat fond of.... Did I mention that I really love to cook? If not, remind me to do so before I finish this profile.
Some of these interests are easy to pursue in solo mode but they're all more fun with an enthusiastic co-conspirator and partner.
I pray to god that he'll send me someone who's figured out that people can be just as good as - and maybe better than - others without the manufactured fear of eternal damnation. (um... just kidding about the praying to god....)
