I'm an atheist who grew up Pentecostal and constantly doubted God's love for me or mankind. My hope is to meet new friends that will take the fear of going to hell away from me, I can love a god who condones slavery and wants homosexuals put to death and call for human and animal sacrifices. I still have a bit of fear put there by the church but it doesn't overwhelm as did when I was a child. I live in Va and when the word gets out that I'm an atheist all bets are off. I've been subjected to so much hate and bigotry that it's becoming impossible to be passive anymore, I fear that I will become as hateful as these so called Christians. I just wanna meet someone who shares my same belief system and not be judged or hated for it.
