Looking for a partner to share life A product of the 60's, I am a rational thinker that was born by definition an atheist. It did not take long before I became a sceptic; not believing in Santa Clause, the Tooth Fairy and the other equally unbelievable Christian god Yahweh. As a very young person I rationalized "the church" and it's stories were strictly a control mechanism based on fairy tails designed to impose servitude through emotional appeals (you're bad and need to be fixed) supported by the eternal carrot (heaven) and the eternal stick (hell - burn for eternity in fire) for children. The rewards to be reaped after you die because some god sacrificed his son to himself who was also himself to a cruel death. Christianity, what a sick death cult.

Now as an adult I find myself a member of the hated/feared intellectually (Rational / successful / elitist ) US atheist minority. Today I was identified as an attack (not one of us) as a "Successful elitist" by a theist who was loosing his debate about evolution. Sad. The number of people who's minds have been polluted by religion.

Background/lifestyle: Never married, joined the army to pay for college and now a civilian for years, no kids, no drugs, I don't drink to get drunk, no smoking, gainfully employed, completely debt free home owner, earlier in life a musician and thespian.

As for physical attributes, my job is mostly mental work so every night I use the weight room of a local health club. As a result I am physically strong and walk miles every day. I have brown eyes. My hair started brown but now has some gray strands.

What am I looking for from the website "Atheist Passions"? Ideally I am in search of a similarly minded partner to share the full spectrum of joys; The beauty of life in this natural world. A more reasonable exception is to expand my circle of like-minded friends; Necessary free of the shackles imprinted by a malevolent religion that imposes a servant / master class system that is un - sub - stan
