Accidental Southener Northern transplant who has had way too many invitations to join a church to meet people. I would sincerely like to meet someone with whom I can have an intelligent conversation, enjoy dining out, theater, hiking, and other mutually interesting activities. I love cooking, writing, photography, and gardening. I am a semi-retired scientist, well-traveled and still have a list of adventures to enjoy. I would like someone as my side-kick on those adventures. I enjoy comedy (was a stand up comedienne in the Caribbean for a time: more details in a later conversation), flying kites on the beach, learning mah jong, have a 500+ word vocabulary in Mandarin Chinese and hope to be fluent one day. I practice Tai Chi on a daily basis and strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I would like to meet a well-traveled, educated, honest, compassionate (about the world) and passionate with his woman; a man who is comfortable being gentle as well as strong. He must like chocolate, and not be allergic to garlic (two of the major food groups in my world), have a library card and a passport. Oh, by the way, I have a great smile.
