Greetings fellow Texans. I'm a recent transplant moved here to be closer to family, and figured the proximity to Austin would bleed blue this direction. (This is up for discussion!)

Retired in 2023 and I've been traveling, downsizing and trying to squeeze every last drop out of this life! I'm an avid reader (historical fiction, ------ mysteries, whodunit) and I'm looking for new adventures.

Being an atheist, and finding a compatible fellow atheist, is important to me b/c I've come to see "believers" as - in this political climate, especially - incompatible with my lifestyle altogether. I'm an LGBTQ+ ally, and supportive of all human rights. At one point I was an Evangelical, so my exposure to religion has been intensive and my bible knowledge is decent, so my decision to be an atheist was not arrived at in any particular "earth-shaking event" type of way. #themoreyouknow
