Separation of Church and State I'm not virulently anti-religion, and I respect other people's right to believe whatever they want, so long as their beliefs and practices don't infringe on my rights or the rights of others.

I recognize that there are many challenges for atheists and they do face discrimination in a world which is still largely dominated by religious influence of one kind or another.

I also want to ensure that I live in a country where separation of church and state is absolute, so that we can all have the freedom of religion and freedom _from_ religion as we so choose.
