Me... and stuff So ... the optional question of "When did I come to describe myself as an Atheist?" is proving to be easier to answer than I thought. When I was in 9th grade (2001) I was the little model catholic boy. I did what my parents and my church said. I went through all the rituals and when it was all done. I looked back and reflected. I came to the realization that I did all of it for someone other than myself. After that moment I started researching various religions and ideologies looking for something I already had. I'm a moral, just, and kind person not because of creed, or ideology, but because it's the right thing to do. I realized then I didn't need anything but the truth. I'd always been skeptical about God and the stories in the bible and other religious books. Well... that came out a bit more jumbled than I'd have liked.
