Educated man looking for an educated woman . . . I am 27 and currently finishing my masters. I hope to teach at the college level once I finish and work towards my PhD. I've dated religious girls before and though they always tell me my lack thereof is never a problem, it always becomes a problem. So I figured I would join to hopefully meet a girl with similar DISbeliefs as me.

I'm not exactly looking for anything serious right from the beginning. I would rather chat for a little bit, see what we have in common and then build from there.

I'm not opposed to chatting with anyone not in my geographical area, but let's be honest, the chances of us getting together are probably not very high . . . but who knows?

A little about me: I love to travel. I've been to many different states in the US and I've been to Ireland. I would like to go back someday, but that's probably due to me being Scotch-Irish. Stemming from that, I'm very into my culture. I like to attend various Celtic/Irish festivals every year and I'm also in an Irish band. We're just a small based band . . . only have played two shows, but we have fun. I'm lead singer and we have guitar, bass and violin.

I'm a big nerd when it comes to movies or music and various other items of "nerdery."

I'll probably add more later, but, until then, feel free to ask me anything. I'm not shy about any topic and I never get embarrassed. I also rarely get upset and I never get jealous.
