Atheist Scientist Comedian As much as I hate writing about myself, I'll try.

I'm a PhD student at UB. As hobbies I do stand up and sketch comedy. I also occasionally sell odd inventions.

I'm sure that if I were to poll my friends they'd have a better description of me. Given a long enough conversation I can make most people laugh, or cringe. Often at the same time.

I'm shy. That is it takes me a while to get comfortable enough around someone to be completely open.

I tend to become obsessed with esoteric topics for days or weeks. What's the best way to perfuse a frog egg with Ringer's solution? Do toe clips really provide a bio-mechanical advantage to pedaling? Why doesn't anyone ever shoot at Batman's jaw? How much of human consciousness is rationalization of decisions already made by unconscious processes? Why does UPS only deliver "signature required" packages during the work day? Could I knit a scarf so long even Tom Baker wouldn't wear it?

I am planning a 360 mile bike tour to Syracuse and back over the summer along the Erie canal trail.

I like to think ahead and plan things out in advance, but I have never shied away from spontaneous decisions. I've been described as *nalytical, which I guess is true to a degree: I can over think simple things but that is probably better than under thinking complex things.

I was in a relationship for about two years that ended a few months ago and I decided it was time to try dating again.
