Sick and Tired of Dodging Fundies First and foremost, thanks for reading my profile.

I have accounts on both OkCupid and Plentyoffish. And, to be honest, I'm absolutely exhausted and frustrated with wading through religious views. "Well, he's not a fundamentalist at least," or, "'Creationism and evolution should both be taught'? Obviously, that won't work." It's time for some assumed rationality.

I'm a mother of a three-year-old boy. He's my world. I have an associate's degree in Business Administration that I do not use. I want to go back to college and perhaps someday teach science. I'm taking steps now to achieve this. For the time being, I work a thankless job for national per capita pay.

I read quite a bit of nonfiction, but not very much fiction. However, Douglas Adam's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is my favorite book. Mark Twain's Letters from the Earth is my second favorite.

My favorite movie is Donnie Darko. I love pretty much all types of movies, save torture films of today and Ben Stiller type movies. My favorite bands are Breaking Benjamin and A Perfect Circle. I'm currently going through a Rachmaninoff phase in classical.

If it's dark yet beautiful, recommend it to me. Your recommendation will not be disregarded.

I'm both realistic and idealistic; I love to be at home, and I want to see the world; I'm very open and friendly, but I do not "settle" and I speak my mind as responsibly as possible; I'm liberal, yet I live quite conservatively.

I deconverted from Christianity almost two years ago. These two years have been very interesting. I have changed quite a bit from who I used to be and how I once felt about many things.
