Be my partner in crime? In summary, I'm a nigh infinite source of laughter for several of my friends. I have a random, and rather unique view of the world and my humor has a bit of a wacky streak to it. I'm usually pretty mellow and enjoy relaxed and mellow interactions more than busy and loud places. I also have a plan in case of zombie apocalypse.

I recently moved back to Reno from the Seattle area and I miss it terribly. I like cloud cover and humidity and the smell of evergreens. My friends and family make my return worthwhile though and I love and enjoy every moment I spend with them. I am attending classes for an Anthropology degree, focus in Linguistics. I love language and noises and am adept at both. If you know how to speak another language, or know some interesting words in English I don't know, I'd love to hear it.

I play music and listen to a lot of different kinds. I loathe discrimination, willful ignorance, and liars. I often wish that life worked out for the best like in the books I read, but that doesn't always seem to be part of the global equation. I'm not a pessimistic person by nature, but I do have moments of cynicism and my views have a decidedly fatalistic bent. That is to say that I look at most events as being what they're going to be and there isn't always a lot I can do about it.

I've been reading a bit on the philosophy of Stoicism, and I find that it appeals to me. Many demonize it as a lack of emotions when it's actually a method of *nalyzing one's emotions and not allowing them to control your actions. It also teaches a strong sense of personal honor and honesty, which deeply appeals to me.
