I'm a free-thinker, optimistic, and barrel of monkeys to be around. In other words, I've got my junk together, I don't have a chip on my shoulder, and gosh darnit, people like me! I love to laugh and entertain those I'm with; bringing a smile to someone's face is one of my life's greatest joys. Just not at the poker table. I'd say a defining quality of mine is that I'm an intellectual. During topics of conversation I often wonder, "What's the bigger picture?" Alas, that always ends up with more questions than answers but I can only talk about neat bags and the latest nail fashions for so long before I ask for the check. I've earned my master's degree and I am working on my PhD, but keeping a healthy balance between family, friends, work, and play is a priority. While I'm always a work in progress, I love who I am and that makes it easy to love others around me. Especially my fuzzy cat, who gives me the frequent pleasure of keeping his bottom free of dingleberries. My lady should take pride in her looks but not be defined by them. I've found inner beauty and a positive attitude are just as important as physical appearance. You should know that I am active and I enjoy a woman who is the same, but you should also enjoy spending lots of 'quiet' time at home, making the bed squeak. I enjoy an occasional glass of wine or beer with dinner or in front of a romantic fire for two. I'm not the kind of guy who will attempt drink you under the table but I may make you laugh so hard you snort it out your nose.
