"...and yet, it moves." I am an intelligent, serious, fun loving, nature loving, scientifically spiritual, down to earth, lover of life. I'm a Strong, intelligent, liberal man who is ready to start a family. I have a good career and and I am the kind of man that can build a deck or roof, attend corporate meetings, intelligently discuss philosophy, history and science, Listen to Bluegrass, then Rage Against The machine, goes camping, Thinks camping can be romantic, plays a guitar, and can cook.My sanctuary is the woods and the water. I like people as much as I can't stand them. I enjoy reading about the new sciences and political history, flying and camping and I love political election years. It's like my super bowl. I am a laid back and easy going person. I am somewhat opinionated but I try to keep an open mind. I like altering my state of consciousness but I don't believe that having fun means consuming as much of a substance as possible. I have a strong desire for adventure and travel again someday I am serious about life and I am serious about enjoying it too. I have traveled a good deal and have been involved in many issues, events and projects of a national grassroots political nature. I have been fortunate enough to have met many wonderful, interesting people. I have lived in the countryside and the city and I love them both (I think suburbs and Cadillac Escalades are true evil). I like music and I think every genre is valid( except maybe polka but, I did see Gene Wilder do some really cool yodeling stuff in a movie once) it's just that some genres have more bad examples in the popular media. I am looking for an interesting and intelligent partner in world conquest, A sexy would be mom who avoids PTA haircuts and maybe has a scandalous tattoo or piercing. Who can be strong and independent but doesn't mind letting me be her beast of burden though she be quite capable. A girl next door with an edge. An atheist who has a quasi spiritual reverence and awe for life, nature and existence.
