Agnostic Tued Atheist/ Rational and scientific
Agnostic Turned Atheist/ Rational and scientific I had considered myself an Agnostic for most of my life. I have always believed in science and what is tangible. As a "doubting Thomas" I would have to see something tangible in order to believe in any deity. I wavered some and tried to believe as I went through 3 drug rehabs. In the end, I once again needed tangible proof. We are afraid of dying. Man, being the top of the food chain wants to believe that there must be more than this. Alas, there is not. Like all life( plant and animal ) we have a life cycle. We live, we die that's it. All civilizations known to man have had a god or gods they believe in. I also believe that religions are institutions created by a few men in order to control the masses.
