I'm an intelligent atheist girl who is having a heck of a time meeting anyone, much less any other atheists. I enjoy doing a lot of different things, but none seem to be conducive to meeting like minded members of the opposite S-- who are anywhere around my age. I belong to or have belonged to groups for gardening, music, motorcycles, and other things, but all that gets me is guys twice my age hitting on me. I grew up in a very rural area, but have adjusted to living in the city- I enjoy all the conveniences of living in Akron and wouldn't have a problem living in many other urban areas, but I still love the space and privacy afforded by living in the country. I also enjoy hiking, biking, going on walks, exercising and reading. Well, I work at a library, so I should hope I enjoy reading! I love to cook and bake, but I'm not so much in love with doing the dishes that go with said baking and cooking. I'm ecologically minded (but not crazy about it!), thrifty, and I do clip coupons, but I'm not someone you'd ever find on those extreme couponer shows. I also enjoy camping, nature and traveling. I've been to NYC a couple of times and I really enjoyed it. I love discovering new places and things, and am very, very curious! I can be shy at times, but once I get to know people and get comfortable I can be very energetic and outgoing. I can be sarcastic and irreverent, and tend to look at things as they are, or in new ways, as opposed to taking tradition or traditional thought for granted. I love science, logic and reason, and cannot stand superstition or people with poor reasoning skills. My tolerance of religion varies depending on my mood- when I don't get too deep into it, or am interacting with decent people of a particular faith, I can be very tolerant. However, if I think about it very much, I admit I feel more like I loathe religion- the poor reasoning and thought, or really lack of thought, the hate that comes from it make me furious if I really think about
