bakunin47 My parents were intelligent and knowledgeable, but we did not attend church. I was exposed to eastern religion as an adolescent, but eventually found it self-serving and out grew it. In th 90s I read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. As I learned more about Rand I grew to prefer reason over various forms of mysticism. I have roots in Buddhism, but call myself and atheist.
