Looking for a cool critical thinker. I think I've always been fascinated by science or I should say more by its results and applications. As I got older, thought became more interesting. I loved hearing people talk about their lives and understanding what was being said and what that entailed became more and more fascinating as time went by.

I grew up in a catholic country, in a catholic family, attended catholic schools and yet never could quite understand their idea of belief. I eventually came to know that holding notions antithetic to the religious mainstream qualified me as atheist. As time went by, I found it to be better not to deal with believers since our modes of thinking were more often then not diametrically opposed on such things as economic policies, self determination, capital punishment, rights of women and children, educational system, laws and many other things.

Atheism is not really that much of an important factor to me in the greater scheme of things. So many people are atheists for different reasons. It's not a steadfastly held rule but more a reference point in order not be subjected to certain notions. It's not a belief system, like I've been recently told, but more akin to the ascertainable belief that two times two equals for. Yes I've seen the video on youtube where it's show that five could be a result of the operation; it's an error in logic; prestidigitation.

Not to get the idea that I may be a stuff shirt, I do have what could be considered a very nice sense of humor and do find many things funny. Though my humor may go in many directions that may even be considered weird by some, there are certain forms don't do much for me. I'm open to many things and tend to reserve my judgement for after an experience unless there is previous awareness.

I do enjoy traveling, though I haven't done as much as I should. I don't like the touristic destinations per se. I do like to get lost in local culture and talk or communicate as best as possible with others around me.
