Finally just admitted it. I'm gay atheist in Tx Mom Jewish, Dad catholic,sisters episcopal, sister fundamental christian - I just had to come out science, math and elemental is ALL I need.
It was a creepy caustic belief and guilt of spooky father figure/heaven hell/
I like cars,horses,golf,music, sunshine, air, earth, water and animals.
Good friends of sane thinking are a bonus which I'd like more of soon.
I teach at UT/ACC/TSU and produce media for my advertising firm. I had to work for myself to avoid silent covert employers that see me as "the disruptive" in-cohesive honesty.
Everything I need is really here right now. Nonsensical nutbag religious mix in corporate life is extending into our universities in an offensive and damaging way.
However, I've been fired 5 times for being atheist! Just one comment, has made several employers, even HR calling that the slightest comment about being free of beliefs in some higher deity offensive. It's been weird. My family disowned me. I study science and math and future technology, music and engineering. Not agnostic, there is no god idea in my head at all. And it's just kinda tacky to finally come out of the closet. So, I would like to chill with people of like mind in Austin. Religion is poison and harmful at least.
