Scientist building a strong mind and healthy body I am a southern man raised in a conservative baptist family. I've come a long way since then. I am very liberal politically. I am extremely passionate about science. Currently I am finishing my MS in Coastal Geology at the University of New Orleans where I teach some intro courses from time to time.
I love the great outdoors. Hiking, swimming, running, climbing, kayaking, fishing...the list goes on. Staying active and fit are essential to me. Sometimes a long run is the only thing that will quiet my busy mind.
So, I am looking for someone like me. I want to be able to discuss the latest research or scientific finding that we read about (or made). I want someone that loves being active just for the sake of it, and cares about their body in a healthy, non obsessive way.
