Looking for the right person Hi. I was widowed in early April and started on sites like this to expand my circle of friends. However, at this point, I am opening up to the idea of dating and seeing where that will lead.

I can't date a smoker; tried to but couldn't. She is a good friend now. I like a good sense of humor and someone who cares about their health. I do go to the gym to try to trim the pounds myself...work in progress.

I need to see smiles in your profile. I'm not shallow, but you need to have a profile picture or at least include one in your first contact. I like to see who I am talking to.

For music, my heart is in the jazz/blues but I listen to almost anything. And for movies, again, almost anything, but no gore. Horror movies are overrated, but I am a huge b-movie junkie. The usual main stream action, sci-fi, "man movies" are my "go to" movies but I will enjoy a chick-flick when I have someone cuddled up to me. And being a larger person, I was made for cuddling!
