Deeds over Creeds Through many years of long thoughts, I have come to call myself a Humanist. As Kurt Vonnegut said, "I am a humanist, which mean, in part, that I have tried to behave decently without any expectation of rewards or punishments after I'm dead."

God is irrelevant to being a good person. If there is a heaven, I want whoever may be there to say, you may not have worshiped me, but you were a good person, and that is enough. It should be enough.

If Hitler gets to go to Heaven, I don't want to be there.

In regard to a diety, Deism is as far as I am willing to go, like out Founding Fathers were. Regardless of what anyone says, just read, the Thomas Jefferson Bible, and Thomas Paine.

If we are going to believe in free will, the concepts of freedom, liberty, and democracy of no god at the least or a watchmaker god at the most. HE IS NOT INVOLVED!!!

In the end, no one knows for sure, because no one can, so everything is up for. And anyone who does is full of shat.

I adhere to the Church of Socrates, by saying, "All I know is that I know nothing."

Also, I have been burned by religious women twice. One said she liked Jesus and then became a whore, the other was a whore and then loved Jesus more than me, go figure.
