My dating life has been somewhat hit and miss. I find that most girls that I would otherwise like to go out with end up being either too conservative-religious or too hardcore-party-girl for my taste. I would describe myself as somewhat detached from normal social structure, though I enjoy hanging around with my friends on campus at the University of Utah. I don't drink. I like my liver too much, though I might give wine a try once I hit 21. I don't smoke either;I've got a good nose and the smell gives me a headache. I have a few simple hobbies: I play the guitar; I'm self taught, and by no means a pro. I read sci fi and fantasy books when I'm not to tired to keep my eyes open. And lastly I'm a bit of a gamer/computer geek. Don't worry though, I don't own a pocket protector OR a slide rule. I'm looking for a girl who wants to take it a little slow. I've always been a believer in the friends before lovers ideal, because if a girl isn't already my friend then I doubt I'd know enough about them to know if I really like them or not. My ideal relationship, at least for now, is maybe going for a hike, the occasional trip to the gym, hanging out with friends, seeing a movie, etc. etc. And a good night for me would be cuddling on the couch with some popcorn and a movie or finding some tasteful reality TV to laugh at.
