I am very moral. Not perfect, but no real vices. I don't fit in to the typical "optimist / pessimist" personality types. I am an "ameliorist" - one who believes that when bad things happen they will always make the best of it and /or get through it. I drink rarely. I don't , gamble, watch sports, hunt or fish. You will never see me sitting around, drinking beer till I nearly pass-out, screaming at the game on TV. Instead you may catch me sipping coffee, and commenting on how interesting or mistaken the “authority” on a PBS documentary show about evolution or dimensional theory is. Actually, this is very likely.

This may seem a little odd for a non-believer; I do believe in a very real world type of Karma. When others know that you are a good, caring, helpful, thoughtful, intelligent person who takes responsibility; you attract similar responses from them. You also increase the “dumb luck” chances of better fortune by not attracting some of the negative elements in to you life. No hocus-pocus, no ghosts, no deities, no “use the Force - Luke!”

I am an Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian. I donate blood on a regular basis and the Red Cross lists me as a CMV Hero. Look it up and you will understand why it is important.

I am sensitive to all living things, but I am not a "milk toast." My career as a NPDES Officer means I have to enforce environmental regulations & laws against individuals who would rather make a buck than be environmentally responsible. I am a close match to my sign - Sagittarius. I much prefer to laugh and joke around. I am rather complex. I like a wide variety of things. I have widely divergent tastes in most things. Example: for music I am as likely to listen to Tennessee Ernie Ford, Aqua, Irish Rovers, Offspring, John Denver, Elvis, Yanni, Weird Al, Gordon Lightfoot, AC/DC, Ry Cooder, Enya, Fountains of Wayne, Roger Miller, Bowling for Soup, or “something completely different” (to barrow a line from Monty Python).
