One of my hobbies is art (creating some as well as enjoying work of others) and yes, I'm really good at it sometimes; no schlocky stuff. That also means I'm a perfectionist about it-or some level of OCD? It's difficult; if I'm going to do something, I want it to be good! I also like anatomy, physiology, reading medical stuff, biology, OK, I'll just say science because the list goes on and on. I love to read, but if I have a good book I won't put it down until I'm finished. That's kinda bad, so sometimes I put myself on "book probation" where I won't allow myself to read a book until I get a certain thing done, or accomplish a certain goal, because if it's a really good book, I won't accomplish anything till I'm done with it. I'm funny, thoughtful, kind, smart, creative and goofy/dorky. I have a tender soul. My daughter, who has been the love of my life tells me I'm a dork, but I beg to differ. I don't know, I don't get it. Maybe that's why I'm a dork. I think I'm kinda cool. My taste in music runs the gamut-I don't like most hip hop or rap or country- I do like blues, rock, what used to be called alternative (I don't know if that term is still used-oh, my dorkdom is showing),jazz, but not freestyle, classical if I'm in the mood. Some of my favorite bands/performers are Garbage, No Doubt, Tom Petty, Edith Piaff, Billie Holiday, Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Johnny Rivers, Roger Miller, Johnny Cash, Andy Williams, etc. Gee, maybe I am a dork. Oh well, I guess there are worse things in life. I just cut off about half of a "profile". So, I'm finding it a little difficult tonight to do this within the limits. So here I am , an atheist; I feel that people who believe in god and allt hat jesus stuff are akin to those who beleived the world was flat. With more to say, think and do, I will stop as I am under 2000 charcters now.
