I'm a retired pilot. I've traveled the world. Been there, done that. I'm a stay at home kinda guy now. I dress casual. I'm most comfortable in jeans and a casual shirt. I am the quiet one except with family and friends. I'm not one for going out on the town. I like dining out but it's no longer any fun doing it alone. I'm pretty satisfied with my life other than the emptiness of not having someone to share it with anymore. I'm a romantic kinda guy. I enjoy beautiful things such as art, music,nature.
I Like New Age, Jazz, Classical, Folk, some CW and Bluegrass music. I like science fiction as well as real science. I like Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking's scientific writings. I also like the philosophies of Aristotle and Ayn Rand. I like to hike. Mountain trails are fun. I always enjoy being out in nature when the weather is nice of course. I like to travel to scenic places in my SUV but it's no longer any fun doing it alone. I don't care for sports. That means ball games. However I do like to watch Ice Skating and Gymnastics. I must be honest. I have handicap license plates but I can hike.
I'm looking for a down to earth, affectionate lady who would enjoy a rural lifestyle with a country gentleman. Well, I'm a country guy, not a farmer. If you enjoy doing the things around the home that pleases you, and me, then you've come to the right place. If you enjoy fixing healthy meals then that is a definite plus. I try to eat organic. I just want to find a woman I can love and enjoy life with. I've always enjoyed intelligent ladies so if you are a reader all the better. I don't expect any special treatment but I would enjoy the little things that you would want to do for your man and I would want to do for you. Hugging, cuddling, and kissing are high on my list of things to do with my mate.
