As a writer, you'd think I could do this, but it's hard. My friends would describe me as an intelligent person who thinks too much. That doesn't mean I don't know how to have fun (I love to laugh), it just means I sometimes have to work a little harder at it. I love all kinds of music (80's! (all the one-hit-wonders), blues (Keb Mo, John Lee Hooker . . .), jazz (Holly Cole, Etta James . . .)), reading and going out; I love cooking too, so I'm happy to stay home, cook and watch a movie. Oh - they'd also describe me as picky and hard to please (though I am mellowing with age); and that's, to some extent, true. But not entirely. If I like you - I'm completely loyal and you know that I like you. I tend to be very generous and I like to please (is there an oxyMORON in there somewhere?). I tend to be sarcastic, so I also need someone who's not easily offended; ideally someone who can dish it out at least as well as they can take it.
