Hello - I am a man who grew up in the sciences my father being an Entomologist at OSU, I went into Geology but spent spent most of my life managing 2 scholarly bookstores (long story) who loves nature and the environment. I have many interests that I would like to share with my best friend. I also am concerned with social causes and do volunteer work when I can. I value truth and honesty and am not looking for a h--k--p but a serious relationship, even if we just become good friends. I would always respect your need for your own time and interests and gladly encourage it. I live on 11 acres of woods so I get to hike every day with my faithful dog. I am looking for an intelligent woman who has interest and passions of her own and hopefully be able to share both our interests together. I love music and have quite the eclectic tastes although Muse is my favorite band. Love art and museums are one of my favorite haunts. I do not drink much but socially and love a good beer and good Blues! I love to star gaze with the hopes of seeing a passing meteor - you just have to keep looking up. I love to hike and explore new natural areas but also love antique shops and so much more. I am infinitely curious and never want to stop learning and hope my woman feels the same. Life is passing by and I am tired of not having a mate to share both our interests, I have been alone too long now and it is time to change that. If you are relatively slender and have brown eyes that is a plus but not a necessity. I hope to find a friend for life or just a friend for hiking and road trips - I just need a friend! I know what I want and will always be honest with you and hate drama of which I am free of, never married or had kids, some close calls but no cigar. A lot of people think I look like Bruce Willis but to be honest I have not heard that in a while lol. I hope to hear from you if you feel we have enough in common to keep things interesting.
