I'm a busy teacher/grad student currently finishing up my PhD at UTK. It seems that outside of my professional circles almost everyone I meet is involved in some sort of religion. While I believe a person's beliefs are their own, that doesn't seem to be the prevailing viewpoint. I guess I'm more agnostic than atheist, but I have absolutely NO use for organized religions. I'm getting my PhD in literature and writing my thesis on cinema, so both of those are a big part of my life. I'm also a musician and want to at least play music for fun regardless of where my professional life takes me. I love to travel and try new restaurants and I am pretty open to trying new things. I'm just tired of having to do them alone.
