I am a 45-year-old Dental Hygienist with a wide variety of interests which include Art, music, literature, science, motorcycling, gardening, camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, cooking, tantric sex, and writing very, very long sentences. I enjoy a good laugh, and will encourage you to do the same. I suppose I'm much like anyone else in that some people like me--some maybe not so much. I believe that the majority of the human race is absolutely bat-s--- insane because they believe that the most absurd things are true somehow simply because they were believed to be so by bronze-age schizophrenics and medieval peasants. It should be obvious to any thinking person that if there were some omnipotent, omniscient, and omnamorous supernatural being(s) in charge of the universe, evil would not exist, and no one would need to argue about what this/these deity(s) wanted--it/they would tell us all. You wouldn't have to read it in a book, or have the message relayed to you by another person. No one else would know anything more about God than you did. So seriously people, let's retire the superstitions, huh? We aren't cave men anymore. This does not mean that I'm closed-minded. Quite the contrary, I am in awe of the complexity and vastness of the universe, and embrace its mysteries whole heartedly and seek to understand humanities place within it. I simply do not jump to illogical conclusions or accept mythologies which have no foundation in reality. Just because a phenomenon may remain unexplained, it doesn't mean that it was magically conjured up by some invisible, supernatural wizard living in the sky. Such leaps in logic can never be scientifically valid, and should never be accepted unquestionably by any rational person.
