Hokka, 72

I have been an atheist since the age of 12. My mother had put me in a conformation class so I could take communion (ritualized ism (yummy!). Unfortunately, I paid attention and soon realized I was in a room with a bunch of loons. I left as soon as I could and never went back, causing quite a stir at home. For the most part I said nothing of my atheism to anyone. But now (I'm 56). and for the last few years have gotten quite militant. I am no longer in the mood to 'suffer fools gladly'. What is the matter with those people? Can't they read? You can point out all the things that make no sense at all in their belief system and they just won't see. What on earth motivates them?
I would like to chat with anyone who shares my views. (very happily married grandmother)
